Using BioFlex

BioFlex is hypo-allergenic: an inert surgical grade material that provides a safer and more comfortable piercing insert.
It is stressed, for safety reasons that neither Push-Fit balls nor Push-Fit discs should be used internally (e.g. mouth or nose).
Results of trials so far show that using Push-Fit accessories gives greater safety against accidental damage to a piercing. We have seen many piercings that have been damaged and become infected because they have been caught in clothing or somesuch. Because BioFlex can be cut to fit a piercing exactly, this is less likely to happen. Coupled with a Push-Fit, when a certain amount of pressure is exerted, the disc/ball will release, and damage to the skin reduced or even avoided!
Push-Fit discs can be used as seperators between metal balls and the skin surface, or the rawness at the edge of a fresh piercing. For those experiencing an allergic reaction to fresh jewellery, the BioFlex barrier could prove essential ... or they could remove the piercing and just let it heal completely!
BioFlex is particularly suitable for fresh piercings - our experience is that wearers have fewer infection problems and the piercing will heal in about half the time than it would with any metal material .... provided that your customers use strict hygiene in the fitting of the bioflex and in regular cleaning
