BioFlex withstands temperature beyond autoclaving temperatures - so you can boil it - and we would advise you to do so anyway before you insert it into your piercing !

AND a remarkable bio-chemical resistance and stability allows you to use any other form of sterilisation.

All you need is a pair of scissors or a sharp blade to reduce the length of a BioFlex bar to exactly the length that is right for your customer's piercing.
Allow extra length for swelling in fresh piercings, then as the swelling reduces, you can reduce the length of the bar! ... again that's how you save money!!!! You don't need to buy shorter lengths .... you can provide an additional service to your customers and bring them back to you again and again.

One of the most appreciated properties of BioFlex is that it is transparent. A labret can be worn reversed, so that it can barely be seen. Ideal if your customer is in the Military, School or any employment where personal presentation is paramount. You supply and fit the piercing jewellery, and they can enjoy wearing it normally during their leisure hours and hide it at work.

You will already know, of course, that body jewellery migrates out of body piercings at differeny rates. Unlike metal bars, which weigh heavy and are rigid, BioFlex has a very low mass weight and is highly flexible. Customers often do not realise that metal piercing jewellery migrates out of the piercing fairly rapidly. Being ultra-light and highly flexible, BioFlex will keep the piercing longer. With the bars fully trimmable, you can ensure the jewellery fits the piercing perfectly - and reduce migration rate through the jewellery catching.

It is ideal for eyebrows (lateral and longitudinal), nipples and navels. It can also be used readily in skin surface piercings (e.g. clavicle) and will sit easily in the piercing.

Because BioFlex is inert, highly chemically and bio-compatible, non-stick, super-light and flexible, it helps in the healing of fresh piercings. In our experience, piercings heal in about half the time you would expect if you were fitting the piercing with all metal jewellery. That alone makes it worth using!

It makes sense, doesn't it ... especially for fresh piercings.. With all the advanced properties of BioFlex, who in their right mind will install metal in a fresh piercing where there is the potential for so much harm.
